I got a job in the city. Stark Industries agreed to take me back, with some prodding from Mr. Stark himself, so we all know what that means. MJ and I are going home this Friday, and this time, come hell or high water, we're staying there.
It's been a blast, but we have bills to pay and a little kid to scar for life.

I think I'm just going to stay out of this registration thing. I'm kind of in support of it, but since I have no intention of registering as a mutant, then it looks like my opinion is void. Genetic damage is not a mutation, but the government certainly doesn't see it that way. I do think it's a pretty understandable response to the whole Magneto thing. So. I'm going to leave it there. No dirty looks, please.

That news articles makes me wish I had gone to Six Flags. Whenever they overreact like that, I assume it was the funnest thing ever.
But I was babysitting. I shouldn't feel bad about that or be bummed because I had to miss for May, but I am. I would have let Elvyran watch her, but he went.

Married for twenty days and we're all still alive. Okay. This is okay. It doesn't feel much different, in any case. BUT, I have to say ... I'm glad I didn't run off and let Kitty marry MJ. That might be a little awkward. We're progressive, but this really isn't the time for a trip up to Canada.

Hey. Hey guys, guess what.
I'm 24. And not dead. I consider that an accomplishment.

I give! I surrender. The white flag is up. I'm leaving it up to the women. I just want to get married, and if Kimberly wants to schedule cake tastings or whatever up, down, and sideways ... then go ahead. And take MJ with you. Have all the joys of planning things.
Speaking of planning things, I have no idea if we're having a bachelor party or if MJ's having a bachelorette party or what. (Ask Kim?) I'm just ... lost. Lost, I tell you.
But if there is a bachelor party sometime in the next two weeks? For the love of God, don't let me drink too much.

I know everything's going horribly and people are worried, but ... May's learning to talk. She says "Dada" now, which apparently started while we were all in Washington. This is not an invitation to try to teach her bad words, by the way; we're going for "Mama" next.

I suppose helping to free the country from tyranny doesn't count as an appropriate birthday present, does it?

Uh. I just got a letter. With fingers in it. I'm torn between being disgusted and trying to find the sender and tell them they Did It Wrong. Isn't it supposed to be the whole hand?
I think I need to go throw up.

Thanks, to everyone who kept an eye on May. We appreciate it.
We're... ---We found MJ's mother. She died. Hypothermia, but she must have been starving when she caught it in the first place. Hank's keeping her in the school, until MJ decides where she should be buried.
No comments on how she deserved it because she was human. Please.

Arla's going back to teaching, so I'm really not here for a job anymore, but MJ and May and I will stick around for a while. I mean, ideally, we'll move out when the Magneto thing is taken care of, but since we have no idea how long that will take ... we'll see.

--> Can never seem to get it right when he has to apologize to Mary Jane
--> Blames himself for Harry Osborn's mental breakdown and subsequent murderous rampage and suicide

--> Nearly bled to death once, and now has a big scar on his stomach to show for it
--> Feels odd being on the staff at Xavier's; with Isis gone, Peter is the youngest teacher at twenty-three years old, and can't help but think that he's not a great teacher because he was just kind of thrown in -- and never bothered to learn to swim first
--> Loves giving pop quizzes
Close Friends
( Mary Jane Watson, Arla Lawrence, Aubrey Ryan )

--> Sings his theme song in the shower when he thinks no one's listening
--> Would never wear shoes if it were up to him
--> Has been in love with Mary Jane Watson since he was six
--> Feels guilty that he has an easier time with May than MJ does -- especially since he knows squat about babies, even if he always wanted kids
--> Would love to admit that May was the best thing that ever happened to him, but can't seem to
--> Rarely sleeps well, especially if Mary Jane's not around
Staff/X-Men
--> Bickers with Logan constantly, but deep down, really kind of looks up to him -- and probably gives him more credit than what's due, but whatever
--> Isn't a great team player, and often goes off on his own
--> Hates the uniform
--> Likes feeling like he's a part of something, but being so far from the City makes him twitch
--> Is, ironically, much more effective when teaming up with the Fantastic Four or Daredevil than he ever was with the X-Men
Currently Unknown
--> Is having weird dreams and feelings (particularly pain in his arms) and is pretty sure he might be possessed -- but he really hopes not, because then he might turn into Karl, feeling up Arla, and kill New York City
--> Still cries over Harry Osborn
--> Is terrified that he'll become too much like a spider and go totally feral
--> Is super protective over Arla -- because he's afraid she'll go crazy and end up like Harry
--> Resents Mary Jane for not telling him about May right away (and at the same time, he sometimes wishes she hadn't told him at all)
-->That thing with that guy that one time Is more prone to looking for father figures than he'd admit, and doesn't realize he comes across as Tony Stark's bitch most of the time
